Experience and Professionalism
Anita has over 20 years of treating primarily orthopedic patients, specializing in sports medicine. Her area of specialty is the spine and lower extremities. This includes neck pain, low back, knee and hip pain, and SI dysfunction.
Anita completed her master’s degree from Sacred Heart University. Her career has incorporated rehabilitation services into a variety of settings including inpatient, aquatic rehab, work hardening, and functional capacity evaluations.
Anita developed and operated the Aquatic Therapy program for a large multi-office orthopaedic practice, and served as the Director of Aquatics for 13 years. There, she developed post-operative lumbar fusion protocols for both aquatic and land based rehabilitation, as well as a rehabilitation protocol as part of a non-surgical multi-disciplinary approach to adhesive capsulitis.
